The heart of the Fontanafredda M.G.A. is home to Fontanafredda’s most representative and historicalvineyard. Planted by request of Rosa Vercellana, after whom it is named, it is no mere coincidence that this strip of land, rich in sand, limestone and the characteristic blue marl of Serralunga, is filled with floral scents reminiscent of roses. A full body, long finish and warm Barolo.

Barolo with a ruby red color, with garnet reflexes. The scent is broad, gentle, but intense, with clear hints of dried rose, violet, tobacco, undergrowth and light vanilla. In the mouth the texture of the tannins is dense. The entrance is soft, almost velvety and then explodes in one well-balanced fruit sensation with acidic freshness. The aftertaste is very long and rich in flavour.
