Druerne til denne Barolo stammer udelukkende fra de bedste vinmarker i områderne Barolo, Monforte, Castiglion Falletto og La Morra. Vinen lagres en del af tiden på det originale fad, som er 160 år gammelt og har tilhørt markisen af Barolo.

Garnet-red in colour with ruby shades. An intense perfume with clean scents of spices, vanilla, roasted hazelnuts, liquorices, cacao and wild rose. The flavour is full and elegant, good-bodied and austere with recurring olfactory sensations. The hints of spices and of wood blend perfectly. Thanks to its big structure, this wine combines exceptionally well with main courses of red meats, braised dishes and game in general. An ideal accompaniment for cheeses.
