The first vines were planted around 1995 by Jens Michael Gundersen, who initially planted around 700 plants of 200 different varieties, to find out which varieties did best in the Danish climate. In November 2015, Miriam My Sandra Arcerito took over the day-to-day operations of Nordlund Vingård, which used to be called Dansk Vincenter established in 1999. The winery's first commercial wine vintage (2002) was launched on December 12, 2003. In 2015, the conversion to organic started, 2018 launch the winery's first organically certified wines. Nordlund vineyard of 3 hectares of vines, approximately 7,000 vines which are particularly well suited to the Danish climate. The grapes Rondo, Castel, Leon Millot and Solaris.
