A 25 years old blended Scotch in the classic Royal Salute style with Strathisla single malt at the heart of the blend. This has been finished for three years in first fill hogsheads which have previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. An exclusive limited edition part of Royal Salute Small Batch Collection.

The small batch programme allows Royal Salute’s Master blender, Sandy Hyslop to release rare and exclusive cask finished whiskies which are part of his distillers reserve inventory. Sandy has meticulously attended to these rare casks and waited for the perfect moment when the casks have imparted the desired essence to these exquisite blends. These sophisticated blends are presented in a distinctive flagon glazed in a striking purple hue, a colour that has been associated with Royalty for centuries.

Nose: Initial notes of rhubarb and ginger jam, raspberry coulis and roasted hazelnut give way to carrot cake and cinnamon with hints of charred oak. Palate: Dark chocolate-coated prunes, sultanas and cinnamon pastries with nutmeg and hints of sweet, charred oa k. Finish: A sweet and slightly spice finish.
