Launched in 2024 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Friends of Laphroaig community, this 30-year-old whisky highlights the defining influence of extended maturation on our signature Laphroaig character.

Aged in a refill American Oak ex-Bourbon seasoned hogshead, this single malt unites the smoky flavour of Laphroaig with sweet notes of lemon, melon and cream, and a touch of salt and seaweed lingering on the palate. The 30-year-old whisky is bottled at a strength of 45.9% to make the most of the flavours.

Laphroaig is one of only a few distilleries still using a traditional malting floor. It is here where Friends of Laphroaig 30-year-old began its life. Starting as malted barley, gently dried and infused by the smoke from our signature cold smoking process in our kilns. It's then mixed with the crisp waters of Islay’s unique Kilbride Stream before being distilled. The spirit has been maturation in a refill American Oak ex-Bourbon seasoned hogshead for 30 years, bringing more variety of flavour to Laphroaig’s classic style.
