Norwegian aquavit is a geographical indication that guarantees that the aquavit is produced in Norway, that it is based on neutral Norwegian potato ethanol and that it has been cask matured at least 6 months in oak casks. This true Norwegian tradition produces a uniquely full-bodied and rounded aquavit.
