Over time, the Aulerde Riesling has revealed the components of its complex genesis. The 30-year-old vines from Aulerde, the mineral-rich soil, and the unique microclimate of this remarkable single vineyard in Westhofen, combined with dry, hot summer 2015, result in pronounced finesse, complexity and freshness in the Aulerde Riesling 2015. As with all our Wines, we developed this Riesling with precision, aiming to showcase the characteristics of the location and soil, as well as the vintage typicity. After several years of bottling aging in our cellars, the Aulerde Riesling displays these features even more prominently. The result is a brilliant and exciting Riesling - dense, multifaceted and still evolving.
