This wine has become the image of the changes in Sicilian wine. This grape was born from the wish to successfully compete with the rest of the world. After a long journey, which began in 1985 and has been full of surprises and successes, Planeta Chardonnay is an icon for the whole of Sicily today. The vines of Ulmo and Maroccoli which produce it are unique in their location and terrain. Calculated and careful fermentation and maturation in French wood produce a wine that is unique in grace and power.

Farve: gylden gul med livlige grønne nuancer. Næse: rig og intens. Aromaer af abrikos, fersken, Golden Delicious-æbler, grønne figener. Strejf af honning, citrusblomster og Bronte-pistacienødder. Let, men velafbalanceret træaroma. Gane: fyldig, cremet og flydende. Dens balance er karakteriseret af en frisk syrlighed, som danner en kontrast til alkoholens blødhed takket være gæringen på træfade. Meget velegnet til fisk eller røget kød. Efter nogle års ældning også til krydret ost.
