Vignobles Jeanjean is a family-run company made of 9 different estates located on the most beautiful and renowned appellations of Languedoc, South of France. Brigitte Jeanjean represents the 6th generation of the family ; she manages a team of 25 and the 200 hectares that make Vignobles Jeanjean. Her commitment towards a preserved environment and the well-being of her workers naturally drove her to have 100% of her estates organically farmed, some even having a double certification (biodynamics, HVE -High Environmental Values). Together with Matthieu Carliez, chief winemaker, they’ve been crafting wines together for 15 years. They share the same passion for Languedoc and the same vision for the wines : wines made preserving the people and the earth, wines made to be enjoyed and shared, wines made according to a philosophy that in the long term will avoid any external components. This is why we are developing the use of native yeasts in our estates, as well as using less and less sulphites, even no added sulphites at all.

This goal of getting the purest fruit while working in harmony with our environment is embodied in our Secret de Lunès Chardonnay. This is a fruit-driven wine, showing the tipicity of the Chardonnay grape, a wine that wonderfully pairs with many dishes (cheese, fish, salads, chicken, spicy food…) or on its own, a wine you want to share ! This is the soul of the Jeanjean Family : friendly wines, wines to be shared and enjoyed.

Chardonnay

Pale yellow with hints of green. Aromas of fresh fruit (pomelos, exotic fruits) and white flowers (honeysuckle), with slightly toasted notes. Fruity palate, with strong vanilla notes and an appealing freshness, balanced out by a very round finish. Serve at 10-12°C as an apéritif or with fish in sauce, fresh cheese or a white meat.
