With over 250 years and 9 generations dedicated to Pinot Noir excellence, the history of Bouchard Ainé & Fils is a long voyage through time, closely linked to the town of Beaune in Burgundy. Full of history and with fine flavour, this wine pays tribute to the General Counsellor, a major figure of the family, who devoted his life to the renown of the noble grapes of his home region : Pinot noir and Chardonnay. The House is perpetuating the tradition of quality and prestige in sourcing pinot noir and chardonnay from different French vineyards which express all the richness of the French terroirs. Flavours of chocolate are emphasized by a hint of menthol, lying on silky tannins. The finish is long with assorted fruity flavours and a subtle touch of oak.
